30-day Challenge

30-day Challenge

Hello Readers. Can you believe it is already November. Weird!!!!! I got married in March and it feel like yesterday!!!.

Tomorrow is November 1st. (or today is depending on when you read this). November is a special month. In November we have political elections, we honor our nations veterans and we gather with friends and family and give thanks (not to mention watch the coolest and greatest parade known to man kind) November is also known for being Movember where men grow their facial hair, specifically a moustache, to raise awareness for prostate cancer. It is also National Novel Writing Month. For me, however,November is special because it has 30 days and therefore is the perfect month for the first ever Healthy Living Geek 30-day Challenge.

My 30-day challenge is not original. However it is inspired by a TED talk by Matt Cutts.

So here is the challenge. Like Matt says, try something new for 30 days straight.Leave me a comment with what you will be doing for this challenge so that I may check in with you and support you for the next 30 days.

My Challenge – For the next 30 days I will give up soda and read 1 hour every night. Soda is a sugary crutch that I cannot get rid of and reading is something I need and want to do more of.

I hope you will all join me for this challenge as I feel it can change lives.
